Abstract. The longevity of cut leaves of Heuchera was more than 90 days. The biggest influence on postharvest longevity had conditioning in the solution of 200 mg∙dm-3 8 HQC and treatment of water.

Summary
Leaves of Heuchera americana ‘Palace Purple’ and Heuchera × brizoides ‘Plum Pudding’ and ‘Cappucino’, cut 22nd of June and 27th of July, were conditioned for 24 hours in solution with 200 mg∙dm-3 8 HQC and 22.5 mg∙dm-3 BA. Water was used as a control. Next the leaves were placed in solution with 50 or 100 mg∙dm-3 GA3 or in water. Postharvest longevity was estimated in days. The leaves of all cultivars had a good longevity, which exceeded even 90 days. The biggest influence on postharvest longevity had conditioning in the solution of 200 mg∙dm-3 8 HQC and treatment of water.
